We work among a population who has either very rarely or never received eye care. A team consisting of ophtalmologists, assistant nurses, pastors and helpers goes by car, boat or airplane to such location.
The activity on site is two-fold: First, we share the Word of God to the group of people seeking care, and are available to counsel and pray with each individual. Second, each person has a free consultation with an eye specialist in order to receive appropriate care.
Consultations are free of charge and given under no conditions so the most needy can be reached.
We also wish to teach the population how to prevent certain eye sicknesses.
“To recover eyesight allows you to work, to provide to the needs of the family.”
